Remodeling or renovating your kitchen can be a major expense and a project-management headache. At RVA Custom Kitchen & Bath, we have an organized, six-step process to make sure we bring your vision to life on time and within budget.
Consultation
The most important thing is to hear from you what you envision. We listen first, and then we work with you to create a plan and a budget. We’re here to offer our 30 years of expertise, but this is your kitchen first and foremost.
Design & Permits
Once we set a plan in place, we get to work. We’ll take measurements, source materials, and work with you to design just what you have in mind. We’ll also manage all building permits and requirements, getting them in motion now so we will be ready to build when the designs are set.
Tear Down and Disposal
Now the fun begins! With a project plan in place, we take out the old and get ready for the new. We are respectful of your home and schedule, and will work as efficiently as we can to prepare your kitchen. We’ll also safely dispose of trash, old appliances, and waste materials.
Structural, Plumbing, and Electrical
Depending on the scope of the renovation, we’ll need to tackle the bones first. We hire licensed and insured electricians, plumbers or other contractors to move walls, pipes and wires, getting everything in place. We’ll install and paint new sheetrock so your new walls will shine.
Flooring, Cabinets, and Counters
After two steps of dust and deconstruction, it’s time to install your new kitchen. Wood floors, stylish cabinets, stone counters—everything will start to come together. We use the best materials with solid warranties so what we build will be sure to last.
